Strymon Canoga Vintage Silicon Fuzz Pedal
The Strymon Canoga is a fully analog fuzz pedal based on a tweaked vintage silicon Fuzz Face-style circuit. Designed for a wide range of tones, Canoga can move from light edge-of-breakup and moderate crunch through to heavily saturated fuzz, while retaining clarity when you roll back your guitar's volume.
Canoga features a simple two-control layout with Drive for adjusting the amount of distortion and Level for setting the output volume. The interaction between the pedal and your guitar's pickups is an important part of its character, so Canoga uses an unbuffered input and is designed to work effectively when placed first in your signal chain.
Rolling back your guitar's volume reveals a range of semi-clean, blues, rock, Americana and pop tones, while the Level control provides substantial output gain for boosting leads or driving other pedals and your amplifier harder. The pedal uses true bypass and a high-impedance output to preserve the distinctive character associated with vintage fuzz circuits.
