This potent sonic elixir is routed through a 3-way toggle switch and per-pickup volume and push-pull tone controls for access to a range of spanky single-coil sounds. The DâAngelico legacy
After mastering his craft during an 18-year apprenticeship, luthier John DâAngelico opened his own shop in Manhattanâs Little Italy in 1932. Catering to New Yorkâs many jazz musicians over the ensuing three decades, DâAngelico and a single apprentice became New Yorkâs foremost stringed instrument builders, creating over one thousand treasured archtop guitars until Johnâs death in 1964. Following his passing, the DâAngelicoâs legacy lived on only through his rare, legendary instruments. After decades, the DâAngelico brand has resurfaced, bringing back the playability and attention to detail of the companyâs New York roots. DâAngelico uses state-of-the-art manufacturing processes and the finest available materials to create playable works of art for todayâs guitarist. From a modest shop in Little Italy to the world stage, DâAngelicoâs dedication to quality craftsmanship ensures that this brand wonât be going dormant again any time soon.
