Ramirez R2 Cedar Top Classic Guitar
The guitars of Jose Ramirez have been celebrated among classical guitarists for more than 100 years, since Jose Ramirez I opened his workshop in Madrid in 1882. It was the power and great volume of one of Jose Ramirezs guitars that encouaged Andres Segovia to begin his career, producing his own concerts at the age of 15.
The José Ramírez "R" line of Classical Guitars was designed by José Ramírez IV in 1991 and is part of the Ramirez "Studio" range of Guitars.
"R" models have a slightly smaller body than the "E" models (also part of the "Studio" range) which lends these guitars a bright sound with a sweet, endearing quality.
